if u have AOL, and u wanna play counter strike, but you cant cos your ping is so high, what u need to do is press ctrl + alt + del, then go to cstrike then right click, the go to set the priorty, set it to low. after that go bk in the game, the ping should decrease loads so that you will get a low ping

Note: this is recommend for Windows XP Only.

Thats because more than likely you have a winmodem, Your cpu is part of your connection in this case and by lowering the priority of a cpu hogging application (counterstrike) giving your winmodem space to breathe. A longterm solution is to get a Hardware modem or adsl ;D

i used to go to that pc world and take all the free internet Cd's after i went to the cinema and me and a few mates just have disc throwing battles in the car park, thats all aol cd's are good for
