I'm sure most of you know that Gran Tourismo 4 came out mid week, I bought it on release day and have had much fun withthe (limited) time I have had at it

One cool new feature is the photo taking capability. You can go into either the 'photo' section of the game or can practice most tracks in photo mode.

The images are saved to your memory card but you can transfer them to a USB memory stick (if your PS2 has usb ports, I think there was 1 ver that didnt) or can hook a printer straight up to the PS2 and print them off.

I took a few and copied them to USB memory stick:
(lowest quality (in GT4) so forgive the artifacts and resized in photoshop)

Photo mode is pretty fun, there is a great amount of control - exposure, white balance, shutter speed, aperture, manual focus etc. Some pretty interesting results can be achieved

My evo is good currently at ~500hp + NOS.. think I'll see how good that 200sx does and also work on a Trueno or Levin, an FD and maybe an R33... more photos soon as my collection grows!

I started with a a brand new '02 Skyline coz I had 100,000 credits carried over from GT3. Thats 276bhp stock, 900 - 1100 tuned depending on model.

I was gonna go down the skyline (R34) route as I too had 110,000 credits... only reason I went for that lan evo is that I read somewhere it is the best car to go for when starting out (the exact one I bought from used cars) ... wont go any further on the power side but its pretty rapid (think I got a 9.3 on the drag stip) and handles well but I need MORE so a larger capacity straight 6 is in order (eg a skyline or a supra)

btw thats a nice r34
