Stuart if you can play import games (via the numerous options available - HD Loader, Swap Magic, Chipping or an NTSC console) you could've had it for a couple of months now. Its been out for ages in USA and even longer in japan... wonder why its been so long to get it over here as USA > UK (PAL) conversions toke no time at all as we will only get version with US actors voices or US subs

hehe was just looking at the official (english part) of the website.

By going online with your ps2 you can get downloads for use in the game - "By going online with the "PlayStation 2", you can download "Special Camouflage Patterns" that are not available in the game.
For details instructions for online connection, please refer to the game manual."

nevararar! Er Sony prob paid lots of $$$ to keep it an exclusive title for PS2 for X amount of time, so some time away! (my guess is like 2 years after its out as thats how long it took for them to do the first one from PS2 > PC)

well i could seeing as I have an NTSC version here...

BTW those pics at the top are 'spruced' up renders, its looks better then the previous games but isnt THAT good in game (compared to those pictures bar the lst one) ... got some vids of an 'extra' in the game (not aspolier as you can play it straight away) ... I'll post them soon

HL2 just won a few awards for its gameplay & storyline ... cant remember which ones from whom but it its won a few and is up for more which it will prob win.

Cant win sales figures as the majority of its sales were actually done thru Steam which cant be included in retail sales.
