OK, personally I use Kazaa Lite, used to use Morpheus and I kinda used bit torrent for a while, but could never find what I wanted so...

Tell me what you use and where you can get it (include link please) and also include a brief FAQ on how to use it effectively if you have time

i use kazaa and soulseek, www.soulseek.com, its good, same kinda way as kazaa, i want kazaa lite though, cant download it ne more!!

i use the hacked kazaa for small files, music vids etc - but for series episodes, 24, smallville, naruto.. i use bit torrent/suprnova www.suprnova.org

For some reason kazaa and morpheus no longer connect for me, they just idle saying 'connecting...' for however long I leave them running..

I just use the morpheus clone, grokster.. Seems faster than kazaa, less users.

BIT TORRENT ALL THE WAY! Its the only download/file sharing method I have used for years (i started a month or two before spiderman the movie came out as that was one of the 1st big files i erm did something with

THe best p2p app for software / movies is emule. Download it from www.emule-project.net. I've tried Kazaa, morpheus and Bit Torrent but this is better.

WTF! I downloaded about 30 songs in around 20 seconds, 255 download source!? Omg this is madness. Plus you gotta love the transfer display, shows you which parts you've downloaded..

i might give that shareaza a whirl, but i dont like the ones that enable ppl to browse thru all the stuff ur sharing, thats how ppl are getting done most of the time by spies, for the RIAA and their euro counterparts or whatever, seeing what you have for share...

bit torrent uses trackers to share a single file (tho multiple files can be done thru the same tracker) so its a lot harder to find out what one person is downloading/uploading.

mind you I am only downloading linux iso's, game/app patches, game demos and the like
