i use custom weapon skins, they kick ass but player skins just confuse..

Only using 2 custom skins at the moment....glock and aug. Glock skin has wicked animation, nice shiny metal gun...and the aug one is the bollox...full-on assault rifle....really beefy and sounds wicked (comes with custom sound files). I'll post it in the downloads section if anyones interested...best skin I've ever used tbh.

nice.. i used to have a good glock skin (might be the one ur on about rascal) but lost them all when i formatted the hdd that my cs install was on (plus i moved it over to a new pc) so i might add some new weapon skins

I went skitzo and replaced everything.. It sucked =/ the sound and aim was totally off and argh... The haunting memories...

my best skin was my old p-90 skin as it was two mac-10's and the reload was so sexy, like puts clips in both guns at the same time, one of the deadgoat skins me thinks.

TBH rane...you can't say default is better...I doubt u have tried all the skins out there....granted things like the ak are easily spoilt by a shit skin, but some, like the aug are just screaming to be replaced! Just having a better look and 'feel' for some weapons makes them much easier to use...and I'm sure it improves your skill coz of the extra confidence u got.
Imagine replacing the standard scout with a railgun. ;D complete with peeeeeooooowwww noises lol.

I think i`ve just got the default skins atm. dont care about aug and a few other skins cos i never use those guns. well hardly use em.
I usually just get my bro to make a new skin for some of the guns

hmm i'd love it if we had a q3 server... that game is good fun... plus the peeeeoooow noises if we used rail gun arena

... the tfc style mod (weapons factory?) is well good too... hmm i miht host one some day if anyone has q3

I just use sprites skins and i have kick ass mac10 with unsilenced shootin sounds

Btw i keep having to change all my sprites cuz sometimes when i try joining a server i get something like: Server is trying to enforce the consensity of this File cstrike/sprites/wall_puff3.mdl <--- example dunno if thats the exact message

rascal is completely right about the whole 'playing better' thing if u have a cool skin

anyway i have some really really good skins atm

1. my ak skin is my fav, if ever u do see my stats on plapit they are all shit coz i got good at cs quickly and nefore was completely bollox, but my ak is the best, my skin looks more like the real one - its darker than the custom and has a more naturaly shape, more like the real ak, and the sound is amazing, very realistic Flaze, atu and Rane all like it [i think..]
2. my compact pistol skin is very very good, it looks extactly like a macarov pistol, metalic silver with a red handle, very nice put the fun in usiang a compact
3. my 5-7 skin is soo cool, it a dual glock skin lol, a shiny silver-white glocks soo cool
4. my aug skin is very cool, cant deskribe it, loks much different form the custom, maybe Rane can help me with the definition
5. i have stu fav p-90 skin the dual mac 10
6. and finally everyopne favourite = my 1337 crew terrorists are asama binladins lol, very funny skin as they are all smilling stupidly wearing oversized turbans and accasionally u can see a thong [err...]

i will be happy to share any skins with any one interested so just contact me, im sure everyone know my msn
