Il Start this by saying that Fuitadnet are very cheap hosts but there Customer support is the biggest peice of dog shit iv seen. (thats being polite)

Right When ever i try to send an e-mail through my @ukbandits.com address i get the error message:

An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'mail.ukbandits.com', Server: 'mail.ukbandits.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554 Please check that your outgoing mail server settings are correct. To do this go to http://www.freeserve.com/help/email/freeserveemailsettings/oe5easysettings.htm. Or contact technical support for assistance.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number: 0x800CCC6F

I sent a e-mail support ticket to fuitadnet and after waiting atleast 2 weeks i think it was, they replied. Here is What they Replied with:

"Greetings,
Sir, here is procedure to set the account in Outlok Express if you tried it first please check the steps are correct
or not I think it will solved your issue.

The procedure for changing the settings is simple.

Click on Tools
Select Accounts
Click on the Mail tab
Click on Add button and then on Mail
Enter your name as you want it to be displayed and click on Next
Enter the email address as username@ukbandits.com and click on Next
In the box Incoming mail POP3 settings enter mail.ukbandits.com
In the box Outgoing mail SMTP settings enter mail.ukbandits.com
Click on Next
In the Account field, enter the account name as username@ukbandits.com
In the Password field, enter your MaGlobe password
Click on Next and then on Finish
Highlight your mail account by clicking on it
Click on Properties
Select Servers
Enable the check box for My server requires SMTP authentication and enter
your Account Name as username@ukbandits.com and password in the settings section .

I read through this and i had already done all this but i tried settin up the account again using all these settings and still it comes up with the same error.

Fuitadnet sent me an e-mail from test@ukbandits.com so i would see that it was workin at there end which i recieved fine. So i then sent them an e-mail saying is there any other settings on outlook express or on my computer that could be stopping the outgoing mail. and its been about 3 weeks and no reply. I cant even be assed to send them another e-mail asking why they havent replied.

Just a few more details to help people who reckon they can solve this problem...The company is based in America (i wouldnt of thought this would make a difference but maybe it could)

I also check my hotmail accounts through outlook express and it works fine sending and recieving.

Other things that i have thought that could be stopping it is my router as i tried the account on my dads computer and it came up with the same error but he uses a @freeserve.co.uk account on there so i would of thought it would work ok, but obviously not.

I thank anyone that contributes this in advance, Thanks for reading aswell as its quite long

Btw Kicking my computer has not solved it either.

lol i get the same problem m8, with stu4rt@stu4rt.net i can send e-mails out fine.. but using an e-mail program i cant recieve e-mails.. so i have a link to my e-mail through cpanel in my favourites, its annoying but it works..

yup.. problem im having, is whenever i try read my stu4rt@stu4rt.net messages through a program like mozilla thunderbird, it asks for my password, so i type my cpanel password in and it doesnt work.. i have he outgoing server name as mail.stu4rt.net but it doesnt work.. bastard thing
