as WON is closing how is the playpit gonna work? i think we need to get this sorted BEFORE WON closes down as the playpit wont work if it is stil ltryingot connect to WON, as was seen a couple of weeks ago when WON crashed and all the 1.5 servers couldnt be connected to.

You can run 1.5 without WON authing, from what I remember it shouldnt be too hard to config, when I hosted a few CS/HLDM/Sven servers it never authed with WON, gave an error in the console of the dedicated server and then carried on ...

we'll have to see what happens, but having to use steam for 1.5 aswell as 1.6 will just take the piss tbh.

This is gonna spark some mayhem I reckon.. Too many enraged 1.5 followers who'd simply quit CS altogether than play 1.6.

And WON dying doesn't mean 1.5 will, could probably last until .7 perhaps

Hmm.. Too many cheaters IMO.. I mean obtaining hacks for 1.5 wasn't a difficult task, but finding them for 1.6! Thats about as easy as finding words in a dictionary

tbh is 1.5 goes and i hav this currnet pc at that time.. i will probably quit cs.. my pc cant run 1.6.. and 1.6 is 2 complicated

seems like 1.5 is dieing off since everyone relised that its all going down by the end of summer..1.5 has gone very quiet and not many ppl coming onto servers
