You can be in teams to, so if u do sign up and take part let me know and you can be in mine, together we will take over the world! (plus its a bit lonely being in a team on ur own

when u pres any key it ads one to the current total kep presses (does mouse clicks too) then u send ur stats to the site (can be setup to do it auto every n amount of keys or every hour etc) and it just keeps adding to ur total...

Ahh well i finally got it to work lol i think i typed like 10000 keys but i never knew u had to actually log into the thing u downloaded from WhatPulse lol

anyway after 5 mins i got 1.240 strokes and 91 clicks

erm...dont mean to be a 'KILLJOY' (topical eh!) but have u guys checked this thing out...I mean its essentially a keylogger that uploads to a central server...sounds a bit dodge to me. :S

well they say this on their site:

"Neither the WhatPulse client nor the server logs keystrokes. The client checks each keystroke as it is entered to ensure that it is a valid key, but the key itself is not stored. Only the aggregate number of valid keys entered is stored on the WhatPulse server."

They could be fibbing of course but I have seen it on a few high profile sites and I've featured in magazines (one was .NET i think but i might be dreaming that)

but if you see it as a risk then dont install

or disable it when doing anything that you want kept confidential.
