I duna whether its just me, but since Vavle released the update for steam n hl2 to prevent stuttering for some players i have noticed a massive increase in stuttering to me :S, never used to b lik tht, any suggestions?

it gets worse as the game progresses...coz more enemys are on screen at once. nothing to do with the update

Just changed some system spec and I have little or no stuttering/game lag now ... running at 1280x1024 MAX everything with 4xAA & 8xAF ... looks fugging amazing!
This shot was taken @ 1280x1024 with 2xAA and 4xAF so it looks a bit nicer then this

forgot to say that is on an XP2500 running at xp3200, 1gb of ram running at ddr400 (dual chan) and a radeon 9800XT

ye bren looks nice, i got runnin at 1024x768, all high setting no AA, looks gd no mine its running on a 2.4ghz 1024 ram n 256 nvidia gforce card.

i'll post a set of screens @ diff settings so ppl can have a butchers as to what the diff lelves of gfx settings might look like
