Anyone already in a 'camp' yet?

I am interested in the PS2 and Nintendo Revolution, less interested in the xbox 360 (dunno why)

One thing that I especially like about the Nintendo Revolution is:
(to quote a diff source)

one of the key announced features of the Revolution is nothing to do with next-generation games at all, but rather to do with Nintendo's back catalogue - all of which will be playable on the new system, right from the NES through to the N64 and the GameCube.

Might seem like a rubbish feature to some ppl but to myself and others like me who still play games on their NES/SNES/N64 and who own a game cube this is very interesting news!

I agree with the controller thing, looking at it i think its bad but it might be ral nice when its in your hand (hopefully it wont be like the MS sidewinder)

I am backing PS3 just for the sheer specs of it and it WILL be good as its from the same folks as ps2... I am backing the Revolution because its got some cool features... dont know what the controllers look like as they are TOP SECRET and are ment to be something special indeed!

dunno if the ps2 size has been released yet but if that socket on the back is your standard 'kettle' lead style connector it'll be > 355mm high by about 85mm wide

lol at those power connectors...atm tho i own xbox at the moment i love the look os the ps3 and the cell does push me towards it...being bloody powerful...however the orig controllers were better

Has anyone heard anythnig about the media capabilities of these new consoles (not much about the Revolution yet I know).

I want to know if they will play mp3s, mpegs or avis etc from a network storage device etc. How about record from TV to hard disk?
